===無一物（む　いち　もつ）===
   * There's a [[raku|楽]] bowl named so made by 長次郎（ちょうじろう）, which 利休 possibly designed the shape for.
   * 弘忍（hong ren) (5th Chan patriarch) (601–674) looked for a successor, and asked his students to compose a poem. One student wrote: //Our body is the Bodhi-tree / And our mind a mirror bright. / Carefully we clean them hour by hour / And let no dust alight.//. This was good, but too technical, too correct. 大鑒惠能 (Dajian Huineng, or Japanese: だいかん　えのう）wrote the following reply, and thus became the 6th patriarch.
