   * 七夕! So I like to serve [[matcha|tea]] from 星野製茶園, 糸巻き for 煙草盆 or 棚.
   * At HY in VII 22 we made たんざくねりきり, which was a ball of あんこ wrapped in green and then white paste. Then a bamboo stalk was drawn in, and some よかん or かんてん shaped like the little wish cards people hang for 七夕 applied.
   * Serving 笹茶 as お白湯 for 七夕 (like at [[restricted:vii_2026|八雲]]

   * Even though it's a 京都 festival, it being the tea capital, you find the float motifs on many 道具 and sweets.
