ホモテナシ

This beautiful little curiosity was developed by 井口海仙, the younger brother of 淡々斎, after the war. It can be used in 8 different ways:

1. 桑小卓, but here you need to place the 柄杓 on the shelf, which adds a point of interest
2. 杉棚, where you slide the middle board back and forth when opening the 水指. However, in order to not knock over the 棗, you hold it, similar to a つづれ棚!
3. 更好棚, or 荒磯棚, depending on how you decide to put the 柄杓.
