 +後炭 is a bit tricky here, and the books are not sufficiently clear about it. The main issue is that there are several orientations from which the 釜 is handled and shifted. //Grosso modo// there are two ways. I think: 
 +   * where you do most things facing N (🅰️) 
 +   * where you try to face the 釜 when working with the bail (🅱️). This requires you to put the bail againstt the 屏風 while facing NE, which I don't think is a big deal.

 +In general, I feel 🅱️ feels nicer. It also ends up to be the way where you can pick up the 鐶 from where you put them down.

 +   * As in normal 後炭, unload 炭斗 first (which is only the 羽), then close the 釜 lid. 
 +   * Shift forward to interact with the 釜: Lift the chains by 3 eyes, //then// put out the 釜敷 and detach 釜. (In the end, it's the other way around: first lower and steady the 釜, then move yourself.)
