後炭 is a bit tricky here, and the books are not sufficiently clear about it.

• You lift the 釜 by 3 eyes before putting out the 釜敷, then you shift forward and detatch it from the chains
• To remove the bail (弦), you need to shift to face the 釜. So while holding it, shift to NE, detatch, and put it leaning against the 屏風
• It could also be, however, that while holding the bail, you shift to face N instead
