This beautiful little curiosity was developed by 井口海仙, the younger brother of 淡々斎, after the war. It can be used in 8 different ways:

1. 仙叟好み 桑小卓, but here you need to place the 柄杓 on the shelf, which adds a point of interest
2. 玄々斎好み 杉棚, where you slide the middle board back before opening the 水指 (and back after closing it). However, in order to not knock over the 棗, you hold it, similar to a つづれ棚! This does not apply when it's a 平棗, which is unlikely to fall over. The original 杉棚 has a little peck for the 柄杓, but here, it doesn't seem to have it. So the 仕覆, I presume, lives in the middle of the 天板.
3. 更好棚, or 荒磯棚, depending on how you decide to put the 柄杓.
4. 八景棚の八変化, which I haven't been able to find anything about. So I presume it's a mix of 杉棚 and 桑小卓, which would also be fun!
5. 玄々斎好み 円融卓, has the nail. Also displays the 帛紗 on the top board
6. 寒雲卓, which is a small version of the huge one.
7. 糸巻棚 (actually an 表千家 shelf 🤫)
8. 四方卓, which is fun because the 柄杓 is not placed on the top board, but rested with R on the edge of the far side! To fill the 水指, you lift the bottom of the 柄杓 with L, place the 蓋置 under it with R, and then get out the 水指.
