Vice-versa, according to CQ31, sometimes 壺飾り is also done on New Years

真,
行 and
草). I guess this matched the rule explained in CQ31 that a
真 壺 is placed in the middle of the 床の間, a
行 one farther away from the host, and a
草 one closer to the host.
