This 点前 was created after 雪, 月 and 花 were created. It is named for the deutzia flower, and is the easiest of the 茶箱. Because of that, it is also called the 平点前 of 茶箱. It was created by 玄々斎 (according to nihonjinron), and later refined by 圓能斎.

- She does it with 柄杓, which works well, only placing the 茶筅 the other way.
- Bow, come in, place tray in front of 瓶掛け, go and fetch 建水.
- Unpacking, part I:
- Tray (with box) to the right, box to the left, lid to the middle.
- Refold 帛紗, clean tray in 3 strokes, and place it at 9 o'clock
- 茶杓 at 6 o'clock (reholding)
- Sweets container and bow. I think the main guests then goes to fetch it.
- Unpacking, part II:
- 茶碗 (reholding, 2 hands), 棗 (one hand), 古帛紗 (directly, fold to the right)
- Box farther away, 建水 up, arrange clothes
- Purifying: 帛紗, 棗 (place it down a bit to the left), 茶杓
- Close lid: 茶筅, water; 茶巾 (put down at 3 o'clock), 茶筅 again; 茶碗
- Sweets, tea (lid rests against the brim of the tray), hot water
- 古帛紗 (onto left hand, right hand turns inwards, and than places it on the mat with the fold on the guest's left side), 茶碗
- 茶碗, 古帛紗 next to right knee (having closed the same way how it was opened, turning it in effect in regards to before), hot water and rinse
- Bow (here the guest could've asked for 拝見), 古帛紗
- Hot water, 茶筅 (over the knee while fetching its container, replace with L), 茶碗 (again, 茶巾 directly into container, again replacing it with L).
- In the meantime, the sweets container has returned
- 帛紗, 茶杓, ポムポム, 帛紗 back on tray and retire 建水, and get box closer.
- 古帛紗, 棗, 茶碗, sweets container, scoop, open lid, 帛紗, lid and move.
- Shift, remove 建水, fetch box.
拝見
- When you put down the 茶碗 after the main guest asks you to finish, the main guest asks for 拝見. 古帛紗 back
- 茶筅. Instead of putting it in its container, put it back, leave 茶巾 in bowl and put 茶筅 in
- 建水 , box, 古帛紗 where the box used to be, 茶碗 with 3 hands (put down with R) on it. Get lid, and shift to 45°.
- Purify 棗 (lid in the middle of the box' lid), then place it in the middle; 茶杓 and place it on the left side. ポムポム. Turn lid (in the air) and put to face the guest. Shift to 0°, get box and face 45°. Turn it on the floor, and put it next to the lid.
- Tray to the left, bowl on 古帛紗 onto tray; shift and remove 建水.
- Video for what the guests do:
- Lid first, box after; box to the far right (next to sweets container), then lid next to it. Start with that.
- General viewing, then take out 帛紗 and put it between lid and box, opening it so it's full open. 棗 lid in the middle, replace, place 棗 on right; then 茶杓 L next to it. Fold 帛紗 up and half (towards L, so same as it was on the 帛紗), and put next to R knee. See lid, turning towards the second guest or first guest, respectively. Replace 棗 and 茶杓 (latter to the L), then get box
- 帛紗 out, but spread full this time. 茶筅 container (middle R), 茶巾 container (middle L). 帛紗 back into 着物.
- Sweets container doesn't get inspected, instead first guest takes it with him (R to his knee) when the last guest returns the lid and box. He puts back the lid first (host's far R), then box, then sweets container.
- Get lid to 0°, 45°, get box and put it under the tray, then sweets container to the lid's right.
- 茶筅 into container (L), 茶巾; move 棗 up, 茶碗 onto lid, 古帛紗 into bowl, tea container, bowl into box (2 hands). Sweets container (place with R), scoop, open lid, then place 帛紗 into box.
- Lid, box onto tray, tray into middle, then lift and leave.
Personal
- The round tray and the items being placed at the four directions annoys me. Something that's not round, nor square? (I presume that's what 和敬 is for).
