ホモテナシ

  • It's a 利休好み, who used a board from the 山里丸 compound of 大阪 castle. This board is a 仕付板(しつけいた), which is used for sewing 着物.
  • What's special about this is that the bottom board has been treated in the 砂摺(すなずり) technique (which means it's been sanded). Because of this, it can be moistened, and thus, it's the only on which you can display unglazed 水指 that need soaking in water!
  • Yabonouchi and Enshū also use this !
  • Here, the 茶器 and 茶筅 are aligned with the ; not in the 流し position!
  • It is quite similar to 無限斎好み 掛け袖棚:
  • For 初炭, 香合 and are arranged in an 八 fashion.
  • You do 半出し with a spouted 水指 here, opening the lid with 3 hands. (Remove the 蓋置 before.)
