中置（なかおき）
General
For this setup, only simple
炭 and
運び（はこび） 点前 are done.
It is often done using the 五行棚（ごぎょうだな）, which was invented by Gengensai. Personally, these
点前 are already quite crowded, so I think the simplicity of the 大板（おおいた）is more preferable.

No matter what of the 3 you use, it's 運棚, so the
蓋置 is 竹. The
蓋置 faces the direction of the
柄杓, so you need to turn it accordingly.
五行棚
Decoration is called
書院, the
柄杓 is vertical on the left side of the board, the
蓋置 on the top shelf. You can also have the
蓋置 on the bottom shelf
You can also have the
柄杓 be diagonally (⅓ and ¼), with the
蓋置 in the lower left corner.
