At a tea gathering, an event based on the principle of 一期一会, the element of suspense as to what utensils will be used is essential. (Hatakeyama Issei. Funnily, his collection ended up in a museum)

- Miyazu looks really high quality and rather expensive, and good for looking up names of items.

- wooden, non-bamboo things (駒沢利斎)
- 盆 like the 高杯（たかつき）, tray for serving sweets to a nobleman used in 貴人点（きにんだて）
道具 (Elements)
名物
- 米市（よねいち) 茶入, named so by 小堀遠州 and thus a 中興名物, because it looks like a bale of rice straw. The golden brocade carries the name of the 茶入.
